Texas College and Career Readiness Standards

Center ISD is committed to providing all students with an educational experience that will enable them to excel academically. To achieve this we will:

Provide curriculum and instructional programs that are aligned with the state-mandated curriculum;
Administrators and teachers will work collaboratively to ensure that the written, taught, and tested curriculum are in alignment throughout the district;
Teachers will use a variety of research-based instructional strategies and actively engage students in activities to promote conceptual understanding;
Provide our teachers with professional development activities, support, and services to enable them to meet the needs of students; and
Use student achievement data to evaluate and improve instructional programs.
