    Let your student learn how to code at their own pace!  Students will begin coding by using simple building blocks to accomplish different tasks.  As the student progresses they will move from using blocks or puzzle pieces to understand the concepts to actually writing the code themselves.  Students will login with their school Google account.

     

    Code Combat

    CodeCombat is an interactive adventure game where students will control their character by typing code.  Students will learn code theory and advance to typing their own code. Students can play without logging in or they can keep track of their progress by logging in with their school Google account.

    • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
    • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
    • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
    • Stay home when you are sick.
    • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue. If you do not have a tissue, use your sleeve (not your hands).
    • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
    • Adhere to the preventative measures as recommended by public health officials, such as limiting interaction and practicing social distancing.
    • Visit the CDC website for more information.

    • If you have, or suspect you have, had contact with someone who has COVID-19, call your healthcare provider immediately and describe the contact you’ve had. Please stay home for 14 days after contact occurs. CenterISD will work with each family or staff member impacted during any extended absence due to self-quarantine.

Misc
  • If a parent/guardian would like to pick up their child/student's medications, please email Lindsay Montario at lindsay.montario@centerisd.org with the following information:

    1. Name of parent or guardian
    2. The name of the campus the student attends
    3. Name of child/student
    4. Good contact number (either landline or cell phone)

    The campus nurse will contact the parent/guardian and set up time to pick up the medication(s) in the front of the campus where the student attends (i.e., curbside).
