To the Center ISD Community:
The new Child Nutrition Program guidelines set forth by the U.S. Department of Agriculture
(USDA) recently announced the continued extension of nationwide flexibilities that allow
free school meals for all children throughout the entire 2020-2021 school year.
This waiver allows Center ISD Child Nutrition Department to customize meal service to suit
specific needs for our community, school, and children.
- Beginning Monday, November 2, 2020 throughout the school year ending on May 27, 2021 all
breakfast and lunch meals will be provided free to all Center ISD students as well as students
enrolled with disabilities up to 21 years of age.
- Meals will be provided from 10:00 am to 10:30 am at the Center High School Cafeteria for children 18 and younger in our area. Pickup will be in the back parking lot behind the Center High School gym. If the child is not in school and under 18 the child must be present to receive a meal. Parents MUST wear a mask.
For additional information on no cost meals served to our students and children, please contact
your Child Nutrition Director at Center ISD (936)-598-1599.
