Located at the geographical center of Shelby County, Center is the county seat and Center ISD is the largest school district in the county. Rated a Conference 4A district in UIL athletic and academic competition, Center ISD has 5 campuses and over 2500 students. Center ISD Gifted and Talented Program Referral Window Open

The Counseling Department of Center ISD is accepting referrals or nominations for the Gifted and Talented program until Thursday, October 31st, 2024 for our annual assessment period. Referral forms can be found on the District website and in the front office of each campus and should be returned either to the campus office or to the Center ISD administration office. While the district accepts referrals throughout the year, assessments for students after October 31st, 2024 will be on an as-needed basis as determined by the district.

Center ISD seeks Parent Representatives for District Improvement Committee

Attention Center ISD Parents! We are gathering parent members for our District Improvement Committee. All parent members must have a student attending Center ISD. At the meetings, we plan, prepare, and review district improvement plans that are part of our educational program. We meet three times each school year, and our first meeting will be happening soon! If you feel like being a part of our district planning, we would love to have your input. Please email Inez Hughes at inez.hughes@centerisd.org for more information or to be added as a committee member! Thank you for your interest!
